CocoRoo Natural Skin Care
As the years progress, I have found that my skin has taken to evolving. Not necessarily in a bad way, but just different. Products I used to use religiously no longer serve their once perfect purpose for my skin.
This fall, as the weather cooled down, I noticed my skin feeling more dry than usual which was interesting for me since I typically never really needed or cared to use moisturizer on my face. I never liked the greasy feel or heaviness of many products out there which put me in a small state of panic.
Fast forward to last week when CocoRoo sent me a package of their scrub and lotions. Since I don’t want to advertise something that I don’t like or believe in, I started using it right away to determine if these were products that I could see myself using or if it wasn’t the right fit.
For anyone who knows me personally, I very rarely sugar coat things. I’m a straight shooter and I will tell you the good, bad and ugly of anything (ask my kids). So for me to tell you that I was amazed when I used these products, that should speak volumes. Here are some quick points of why I am fascinated with these products, then I will go into more detail:
Products are 100 % natural and USDA Certified Organic.
As noted above, they’re natural - so much so that the ReJAVAnation Coffee Scrub is actually edible!
Products are multi-use: They can be used from after sun relief, all the way to a deep hair mask.
The lotions are light and absorb naturally into your skin without feeling greasy.
My bathroom smells AMAZING!
I typically exfoliate my face 2-3 times per week, and my body pretty much every other day. I find my skin, as I get older, is drier than it used to be, so exfoliating is the key. My immediate interest when I received this package was the fact that the ReJAVAnation Coffee Scrub was not in a jar - it was in a tube. How easy is that?
I used the scrub on both my body and face. Friends, I am in love! I wish you could touch my skin and feel how smooth it feels. Not only that, but my concealer and mineral powder went on so much smoother. To me, that is gold - half the effort on my part to make my face look natural with makeup on.
My husband can attest about the smoothness of my arms and legs (not getting too personal, I promise). I will also share with you that I actually took this scrub one level higher and used it on my heels which are SO dry. It didn’t totally take the cracks away (my heels are in bad shape), but it definitely smoothed it for sure. I have used this scrub now 3 times all over from my feet to my face and I haven’t had to use much as it goes a long way.
I then used the Coconut Moisturizing Lotion with Cold-Pressed Macadamia Nut Oil that hydrates, protects and replenishes. Especially after exfoliating, it went on easily, felt super light, and absorbed easily into my skin without leaving a greasy feel. Whatever cracks I didn’t get on my heels with the scrub, this lotion completely took care of and I can proudly say I can wear flip flops right now in the cold and not be embarrassed.
Let me tell you, I liked CocoRoo’s products so much that I felt I needed to dedicate a blog post on it. THAT’S how much I was blown away. To have a company that is 1 year young get it right so quickly is pretty impressive. As I am quickly learning, many of the products we use on our bodies these days are flooded with chemicals that could long term, be dangerous for us. With CocoRoo’s products, you can confidently use the scrub and lotions with a peace of mind knowing they are 100% natural.
I’m sure people all around town today who saw me chuckled wondering why the lady with the dark hair kept caressing her own face.
