Hi.

Welcome to life with me, Mama K, a blogger with a passion for fashion, life, and family.  My life isn't perfect, but heck, whose is? I hope you enjoy my journey!

Mama K's Birthday

Birthdays are funny. They can make you happy, sad, grateful, hopeful for the future and reflective on the past all at once. This year I've found myself craving a new way of communicating and sharing with women in this world. I wanted to do something that was completely out of my comfort zone and that scared me a little (ok, a lot). So this year for my birthday, instead of over-looking it as I've sometimes done, I'm going to dive head first into this exciting new world of sharing and learning. With that, let me introduce myself!

My name is Neda (pronounced, Ned -a) but I'm better known amongst my kids' friends as 'Mama K'. And that's what I primarily am, a mama! My husband and I have 2 teenagers, Neaka (pronounced Nee-ka) and Kian (pronounced Key-on), a first grader, Ellie, and a dog, Tess.

After 24 years of marriage, 4 pregnancies, 3 kids, 7 homes in 2 states and a few career changes - I feel as though I've learned enough to fill an encyclopedia. As humbled and fortunate as I am to have had the tests and joys of this beautiful life, it would seem selfish of me to not share some of the lessons I managed to learn! I look forward to sharing all that I am able to with you in the hopes that I can in some way, make your life easier or at the very least, brighten your day.

Please join me as I navigate life, kiddos, shopping, friends and more. I don't have all the answers, goodness knows life sometimes feels like a series of trials and errors, but I have learned to try my best and have a sense of humor and laugh (especially at myself) when things don't go as planned. I hope we can laugh together, cry together, and most of all learn together. Thanks for joining me on this journey - it's a true honor.

- Hugs, Mama K
