Fell in love with Baked Oatmeal while visiting my daughter at school in Tuscaloosa, AL. This cute coffee shop/cafe, Heritage House, made the most magnificent baked oatmeal and I vowed I would find the closest thing to their baked oatmeal. After many attempts, I combined a little of all the different recipes to come up with my favorite recipe. I hope you love it as much as I do!
Affogato is one of my favorite, cold weather desserts. The creaminess of the vanilla ice cream naturally sweetens the bitterness of the coffee or espresso. My recipe makes it easy to use espresso or good old regular coffee - so good!
When I think of Cinco de Mayo, I think lots of delicious chips and salsa, and of course, tacos and margaritas. Because I don’t drink alcoholic beverages, there are still a myriad of delicious and refreshing mock-tail choices available.
I have always loved avocado toast, but I love changing things up by adding my own little additions and seasonings to make it completely personalized for my taste.
I’m not much of an avid slow cooker user, but when in a pinch for time a slow cooker can really create a delicious meal with minimal effort and ingredients. Today I’m sharing a recipe for the easiest (and most delicious!) slow cooker chicken tortilla soup ever!
